  • Military Retirees: check your pay statment!!

    If you choose SBP (suvivor's benefit plan) or an earlier version where part of your military retired
    pay goes to your surviving spouse, check the back of your latest pay statement to ensure that
    the correct information is listed for your spouse!

    The Buckley CAO provides information for surviving spouses as well as "one stop shop" for
    handling of VA, Military Branch of Service death notification, etc. If you have not
    had the opportunity to speak with the Buckley CAO, you need to, they are  a great source of
    information on survivors benefits and helping the surviving spouse.
